**Activities of the team/department that this role will operate in;**

**Highways and Civil Engineering Works**

***

**Purpose of the role and your responsibilities;**

**To carry out a wide range of highway construction works and operations**

**To willingly carry out any reasonable task as requested by a member of the team or management**

**Timely and accurate completion of paperwork, such as fuel reports and timesheets.**

**Carry out all required checks of plant, equipment and vehicles including the completion of associated reports as per company policy.**

**Promote company core values and appearance**

**Actively foster positive staff morale**

**Formal qualifications required;**

**NVQ level 2 in related sector**

**CPC up to 20 tonne machine**

**CSCS Card**

**NRSWA Supervisor or equivalent**

**Current Driving Licence**

**Banksman**

**Manual Handling**

**Abrasive Wheels**

**Emergency First Aid**

**Safe Dig - CAT & Genny**

**Clean driving licence essential**

**Skills required;**

**PC / Android mobile device literacy**

**Able to use mobile apps for vehicle inspections, timekeeping and health and safety reporting**

**Experience required;**

**Minimum 18 months Highways and General Civils experience**

**Knowledge;**

**Good knowledge of Highways and General Civils works**

**Personal qualities;**
