The purpose of the role is to be ahead of the market, identifying future products to serve our customers and generate revenue for the business. You will be responsible for managing the product through the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritising customerrequirements and insights, defining the product and working closely with departments across the business to deliver a successful product.

For this role, it is essential you have worked within our sector previously and have a good understanding of our products life cycle. We need you to be able to pre-empt our customers requirements and be able to communicate this need to the business.

**Main Duties**
- Develop products through insights from market research, identifying trends and customer buying behaviour
- Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high level use cases, technical requirements, revenue and ROI
- Ensure robust testing criteria is produced and recorded along with tolerance of what constitutes a go to market or hold approach
- Assess current competitor offerings, identifying opportunities and threats
- Assess current product offering across the Group inclusive of acquisition and make recommendations as to future planning
- Manage from conception of the product through to product end of life
- Responsible for managing and implementing marketing activities through research, strategic planning and implementation through product launches and marketing campaigns
- Deliver the operating plan
- Drive the product and business planning process across cross-functional teams of the company
- Gather and evaluate new ideas and opinions.
- Create timelines and roadmaps for the development and onboarding of products
- Evaluate and assess effectiveness, cross-sell and product tail
- Assess changes to existing products inclusive of service upgrades, feature launch/withdrawal.?
