**We are seeking an after-school manny for an autistic boy aged 8 in Maida Vale**

The boy is one of four children, but will have his own nanny, while the other three have another nanny for the afterschool period.

The role involves picking him up from school between 3:30-4:30 depending on the day and from school clubs where he’d stay until 8 or 8:30. You will take him home, support him with homework, help with emotional regulation, and help with dinner and bathtime.

He is triggered by his siblings, one in particular, so stays a bit separate at home.

He is dyslexic, so school work can cause stress and can be difficult. Supporting him with homework is key.

He is working on learning to self-regulate, he does use audio books to have some calm down-time without as much prompting.

He isn’t sporty, he is into Lego and logic games. He has great attention when his mood is good.

He can hit when upset and eating is a struggle. He mostly eats plain pasta.

The role aims to start in September, so interviews are taking place as soon as possible.

£20+ an hour
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Have a clear DBS
- Ideally have experience working with dyslexic children (a plus)
- Have experience working with autistic children
- Be able to commit to at least a school year
- Have experience with challenging behaviours
