**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage reservations and walk-ins, ensuring timely seating and accommodation of guest preferences.
- Provide detailed information about our menu items, specials, and beverages to guests, answering any questions they may have.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth operation and timely service.
- Process transactions and handle cash and card payments accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining and reception areas.
- Address and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Assist in setting up the dining area for service, including table settings and decoration as required.

**Requirements**:

- A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of POS systems and basic computer skills.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members.
- Previous experience in a front-of-house role in a pub, restaurant, or similar establishment is preferred but not required.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing procedures and policies

**Note: Training will be provided if required**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: £8.00-£11.44 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
