Job description

**£15.00 per hour**

We operate 24 hours a day/365 days a year and offer support services for children and young people to local authorities nationwide.

The majority of our services fall into two categories:
Secure transport of children and young people

Support of children and young people with especially complex needs in a range of settings, including secure units

**The Role**

You will work on a wide variety of tasks, often in demanding circumstances and environments. We support people who are facing their own life challenges and this can reflect in their actions; it is essential that, with training, you can be confident managing challenging behaviour and consistently provide the highest standards of support

We operate 24 hours a day and both the nature and timings of our tasks are unpredictable. This means that the work you do and your working days will also be unpredictable; you will need to be flexible and able to adapt to the different types of work and the irregular working hours. Tasks are sometimes pre-booked but can also be arranged as an emergency call-out and will often not have a set finish time so it is essential that you are able to work at any time of the day or night and sometimes overnight on rostered days.

**The Next Step**

You don't need to have experience of working with children or young people, although it would be useful. You will need:

- a full manual driving licence and a good driving record
- evidence of your entitlement to work in the UK
- to live within reasonable travelling distance of our base in Enfield
- a positive approach to supporting children and young people in particularly challenging circumstances
- to be flexible in your availability to work
