We have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Manager who will take charge of our procurement strategy and policy, ensure value for money from suppliers and work withbudget holders across the charity to ensure best practice is adhered to.
We're looking for someone with a track record of delivering procurement outcomes, who can manage projects, analyse issues, create solutions, and implement them. The successful applicant will have excellent relationship building, negotiation and influencingskills.
**Where you'll work**:
This will be a hybrid role, working both from home and our Leeds office, with a current requirement to be in the office a minimum of 2 days per month. In this role we would look for flexibility in areas of working at times; along with some travel, with overnightstays, to suit FCC requirements.
**What you'll be doing**:

- Establishing a procurement strategy to with a focus on value for money, social value, consistency and reflecting Charity priorities across its varied stakeholders
- Supporting the development and improvement of a comprehensive procurement policy and processes on behalf of the Charity
- Leading supplier negotiations and tenders
- Implementing effective supplier management techniques
- Carrying out the ongoing review of annual spend with the top 20 suppliers and taking action to control costs and achieve savings against run rate levels
- Establishing and maintaining excellent working relationships within functions across the charity
- Providing colleagues with robust financial impact assessments and cost benefit analysis
- Effectively engaging with departmental budget holders to ensure best practice is adhered to
- Conducting due diligence and credit checks with prospective suppliers
- Supporting the management of team risks through KPIs, risk register and quarterly review process
- Providing accurate forecasting data with reference to run-rate actual spend

**What you'll bring**:

- CIPS qualification
- A track record of delivering procurement outcomes, and experience of digital modernisation and technology suppliers
- Experience of managing projects including analysis of issues, creation and implementation of solutions
- A track record of controlling and reducing external spend whilst developing a robust supplier base
- Ideally you will have experience of leading, managing and motivating a small team

**Salary**:
Starting between £50,000 and £57,500 depending on experience.
