Driver Trainer

**Driver Trainer**
Reporting to the Head of Transport, you will be a Class 1 HGV Driver Trainer, for a multi contract operation, delivering assessments, DCPC, and FORS Training. The Unipart Transport Service, Cowley operation, is a 24/5 national delivery operation. You will supportthe transport management team with day-to-day operational needs, this may include supporting the cover of sickness and absence within the driving team. Your time will be split between working in the office creating training plans, reporting, spot checks etcand on the road carrying out assessments and training as well as supporting OTR dynamic risk assessments.
**Trainer - Driver / Transport Requirements**:

- Conducting driving assessments, pre-employments and driver refresher
- Full Clean HGV class 1 (C+E) licence
- DCPC Qualification
- Manual Handling Qualified Instructor
- Fully understand driver’s compliance and legislation rules
- Driver training and coaching experience and qualification
- Knowledge of Health and Safety
- Confident communicator
- Computer literate

**Desirable**:

- Minimum 3 years driving experience
- Knowledge of FORS
- Transport Manager CPC
