Bowker IT is a well-established North-West based company with ambitious growth plans and is recruiting in order to support this.
**Overview:**
QA Ltd have partnered with Bowker IT to assist with the recruitment and training of a L3 IT Apprentice to join their helpdesk / expanding team based in Morecambe.
**Salary**:
£17,000 - £20,000 per annum. --- dependent on experience.
**Main responsibilities**:
- Working with and supporting the team.
- Provide first line helpdesk support to customers.
- To accurately diagnose software and hardware faults and to be able to resolve a large proportion of client problems via remote networking and client site visits.
- Provide a high standard of customer care to clients, ensuring their problems are dealt with efficiently, maintaining contact and keeping clients informed of progress.
- Handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Implementation and provide ongoing support for SME and the **Education sectors** infrastructure solutions.
- In addition, you may be called upon to do other duties as demand occurs.
**Progression within the role**:
- Develop into working on projects.
- Visit customer sites.
- Be an integral part of the IT function.

**Entry requirements**:
The entry requirements for this Azure Cloud Support Specialist programme are as follows:
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

**Future prospects**:
92% of QA Apprentices secure permanent employment after finishing their apprenticeship. Additionally, there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programs offer on-going development tracks.

QA’s apprenticeships are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), an executive agency of the Department for Education.
To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
