Proudly established at the heart of Ramsgate for over **30 years**, we are a warm, community-focused nursery dedicated to providing high-quality early years education and care. We are looking for an **enthusiastic, passionate, and motivated Early Years Educator / Practitioner** to join our friendly and supportive team.

**About the Role**

As an **Early Years Educator**, you will play a key role in fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for our young learners. You will support each child’s development through **creative, play-based learning**, while promoting confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.

You will:

- Plan and implement **age-appropriate educational programmes** tailored to individual needs.
- Create a **safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment** that encourages exploration and discovery.
- Act as a **key worker** to a small group of children, maintaining strong relationships with families.
- Observe and assess children’s progress, sharing feedback with parents and guardians.
- Foster children’s **social, emotional, and cognitive development** through engaging activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a high standard of care and education.
- Ensure compliance with **health, safety, and safeguarding policies**.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of children’s development and achievements.

**About You**

We’re looking for someone who:

- Has **proven experience** working with children in a nursery or childcare environment (preferred, not essential).
- Holds an **Early Years Qualification (Level 3 or above)**.
- Is **Paediatric First Aid trained** (or willing to obtain certification).
- Communicates effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Is enthusiastic, nurturing, and committed to providing the best start in life for every child.
- Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a supportive team.
- Brings creativity, patience, and positivity to every day.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From £13.00 per hour
