Total Repair Service are a building repair company who operate thought Devon and Cornwall, principally repairing homes and businesses which have suffered loss or damage from fire, water, storm and impact.
We work with many of the largest national insurers whether directly or via Building Repair Networks, providing a first class, consistent service wherever we work and in whatever we do. Our friendly and professional approach makes the process of repair a simple and convenient experience for our clients.
We are seeking a trainee contract surveyor/estimator to work in our contracts team carrying out insurance and commercial works to projects up to £500K in value. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, confident and innovative individual to start a career within a dynamic and successful team.
**Main Responsibilities once trained**
- Compile detailed reports
- Compile schedule of works and accurate estimates
- Work closely with the Contract team manager throughout the project
- Liaise with clients
**Requirement or Skills**
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Drive & motivation
- Organisational skills
- Methodical thinker
- GCSE Grades C (4) or above in English and Math’s
- A Level or Level 3 equivalent
- Full UK Driving Licence
**Salary**: £15,000.00-£18,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
