We are currently recruiting for a passionate and creative Hospitality Head Chef to oversee the fine dining and hospitality at our client's site based in the City of London.
Working for a leading contract caterer, this prestigious site has an extremely busy hospitality department. The food produced here is of the highest quality and ranges from working lunches to canapés and sit down formal dinners. All food is freshly preparedusing seasonal ingredients and presentation is essential.
As the Hospitality Head Chef, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the hospitality kitchen working closely with the Exec Chef for the site to ensure all food created and produced is above and beyond the clients' expectation. You will naturallybe a strong leader with the ability to guide and mentor your team ensuring a good morale and working environment. With the food being of Michelin standard, you will of course be passionate about food and ingredients with an exceptional eye for detail and presentation.
Working hours will be Monday to Friday, approx. 40 hours per week.
- Currently be at Senior Sous Chef or Head Chef level with a proven career history with high end hospitality catering
- Have worked within corporate catering or a similar environment
- Have fine dining experience ideally within a Michelin star or Rosette restaurant
- Be able to demonstrate a successful progressive background in catering
- Be able to lead, manage and develop a team ensuring a good working environment
- Be passionate about food and ingredients as well as up to date with trends and concepts
- Have an excellent eye for detail and presentation with flair and creativity
- Have excellent communication and organizational skills
- Be financially astute
- Be flexible and willing with a positive can do attitude
