**What is the role?**

Health, Safety & Environment, (HSE) Advisor is responsible for ensuring HSE compliance and continual improvement in performance. The HSE Advisor will have responsibility for HSE performance and competent technical advice across Gatwick Airport, and is responsible for delivering improvement programmes to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

**What will you do?**
- Support the implementation and compliance of HSE vision and strategic approach's, including management standards (i.e. ISO -45001 and ISO -14001) Measurable against HSE vision.
- Ensure Gatwick Airport's compliance with all applicable Health, Safety & Environment legislation, measurable against metrics.
- Deliver elements of HSE leadership, culture change with engagement and passion by developing, advising and support initiatives to drive HSE performance, measurable against HSE metrics.
- Benchmark and implement best practices, where appropriate, to continually improve HSE performance, measurable against HSE vision.

**Do you have what we're looking for?**
- 2+ years demonstrable practitioner experience.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental Management Systems
- Experience with HSE Legislation and enforcement frameworks
- NEBOSH diploma or equivalent
- Internal audit / inspection and Monitor and Review programmes
- Good understanding of how to conduct risk assessments which includes (fire safety, Legionella, COSHH, Asbestos, DSE, Manual Handling)
- Experience in a HSE multi-function, customer orientated organisation.
- Delivery of HSE objectives, aims and improvement programmes
- Strong IT and presentation skills. Able to analyse, interpret and present relevant information.
