Greenwellgleeson are recruiting for an Interim Accountant to work with a charitable trust on a 6 month FTC basis.

This role is primarily office-based and can be based out of Birmingham, Worcester, Stourbridge or Sheffield to suit.

Duties of the role will include:

- To undertake a programme of financial internal audit in line with the regulations of the

Charities Act 2011. Internal audit is a critical aspect of the internal control arrangements

for the Trust.
- To ensure that for each of the individual entities and charities within the group, the

financial audits are managed within the Trust audit programme reporting any concerns to

the Chief Financial Officer.
- To resolve, quickly and efficiently, consolidation differences that arise between different

entities, ensuring the consolidated pack is fully eliminated.
- Where grants are received, liaise with the funding bodies and ensure their reporting needs

are met and that systems of grant drawdown are in place and effective.
- To support the delivery of the annual statutory financial statements for the Trust and its

subsidiaries, liaising with other staff to meet the year end timetable for delivery of

reconciliations and supporting audit schedules that are required and set by the Chief

Financial Officer

Skills, Requirements, Qualifications
- Fully Qualified ACA/ ACCA/ ACMA
- Experience working on charity audits
- Able to start within short notice
