**Job Description**:

- ** Hours**: 37.5 hours per week
- ** Job Location**:Ellesmere Port
- ** Salary**: £19,472 - You will also benefit from a 10% performance bonus private health cover after 1 years’ service, a contributory pension scheme and life cover**.**
As a Registration Unpacking Assistant, you will be responsible for receiving, unpacking and sorting of all incoming samples to ensure easy registration onto IT LIMS systems. You will also ensure that waste packaging materials are stored and disposed of in a timely manner, maintaining a safe working environment in the unpacking area.
**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Responsible for receiving, unpacking and sorting of all incoming samples to ensure easy registration onto IT LIMS systems.
- Assist with storage and disposal of laboratory samples when required ensuring that a safe working environment is maintained in the stores area.
- Asist in the accurately entering laboratory samples into the relevant IT LIMS systems and delivery to the laboratory to facilitate laboratory analysis and diagnosis within appropriate KPI when required.
- Assist in resolving registration queries to a conclusion ensuring business and customer satisfaction.
- Promptly inform your Team Leader if a piece of equipment is not operating correctly to ensure KPI’s are met and minimising inaccuracies and errors.
- Report near misses and other NCR’s/CAPRs/NIRs to the Registration Team Leader and register on the company’s quality system.
**Qualifications**:
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Ability to adopt a flexible approach to work and react effectively to a rapidly changing environment.
- Able to work under own initiative and with a high degree of autonomy & maturity.
- GCSE in Science, Mathematics and English grades A to C, or equivalent.
- Full UK driving licence
