We are seeking a full time Psychology Assistant (6 months Fixed Term Contract, to join the Therapies Team at Woodlands.

Woodlands provides inpatient mental health services for adults and older adults, within the Ipswich General Hospital site, Heath Road, Ipswich, East Suffolk, IP4 5PD.

You will be based within the Therapies Team consisting of Clinical Psychologists, Assistant Psychologists and a Trainee Clinical Psychologist. The post holder will work closely with the MDT teams on the Acute Mental Health inpatient service and PICU and be supervised by the Clinical Psychologist in the team.

The post holder will support the day-to-day clinical work of the therapies team. They will be responsible for running groups, providing psychological assessments and interventions under supervision and developing Positive Behaviour Support Plans and formulations. They will also provide clinically related support to the team.
