The main responsibilities of an NHS Administrator;
- First point of contact for patients/parents, GPs, referrers and other healthcare professionals, managers and staff contacting the department.
- Book and rescheduale appointments as rquested by the clinicians.
- Support clinic and admision planning, including clinic prep.
- To book and reschedule follow-up appointments and meeting for staff.
- Ensuring all filing sytems are in good order.
- Gather and record Important data.
- Providing customer service to patients.
**Profile**
The successful NHS Administrator candidte would have;
- previous exposure to being an administrator, preferably within the NHS.
- Have great customer service.
- Have a good understanding of how to input data.
- Be able to support clinicians and managers.
- To work indepenantly and meet deadlines.
