I&c Technical Lead

**Salary**: £43,750

**Hours**: 40 hours Mon - Fri, 5 days per week between the hours of 8am-5pm. Shift work also available

**Location**: Based in the Field and Home (Midlands Based)

**Overview**:
Yu Smart are looking for an individual with strong knowledge and competence of commercial metering to join our innovative business as a Technical Lead.

We are currently recruiting for an I&C Technical Lead with drive behind experience and knowledge, who is willing to go that extra mile to ensure properties are left with safely, compliant and with smart meters

Working closely with the Regional Field Manager & Technical Assurance Manager and team, you will strive to support field operatives to successful completion of larger capacity metering installations, enabling them to hone their skills and knowledge with accuracy and confidence.

- Ensure accuracy of work is to the required standard.
- Quality of installs ensuring Audit targets are met.
- Providing Technical support, in-field and remotely.
- Help facilitate the delivery of a seamless customer experience for our client.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to field operatives in all areas of metering works.

**Relevant Qualifications / Experience**:

- Smart Metering (Dual Fuel) Experience
- Industry Qualifications: CMA1/CODNCO1 or CMET1 + MET4 + TCPC1a (or equivalent/greater)
- Certificate in Power (Logic or equivalent)
- Knowledge of industry standards/documents
- Scope of knowledge/experience in:

- Commercial metering installations - U16 to U40 (or greater)
- Strength testing, Tightness testing and direct purging of large IV installations

**Desirable**:

- Three Phase
- REGT1 - Medium Pressure
- Current Transformer (CT)

**Additional Requirements**:

- UK Driving Licence
- Pass a colour blindness test.
- Pass a DBS check.
