Nursery Cleaner

We are a brand-new nursery that has opened in January 2025 and are looking for an experienced cleaner to join our team. We are a small independent nursery, where we pride ourselves on having a clean and tidy setting for our children.

The hours are to start asap Monday, Wednesday and Friday 2 hours each evening, totalling 6 hours per week. From September, we this will increase to Monday-Friday, two hours each night, totalling 10 hours per week.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform daily cleaning tasks as outlined in the cleaning checklist and work schedule.
- Vacuum and wash floors.
- Dust window ledges, rails, skirting boards, and glass panels.
- Ensure all areas are cleaned to the highest standards.
- Maintain health and safety standards at all times.
- Clean, maintain, and store equipment properly.
- To complete jobs as and when required to maintain the cleanliness of the nursery.

**Requirements**:

- Previous cleaning experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 10 per week
