**Hours**:_**33.33 hours per week over 46 weeks (TERM-TIME ONLY) - 8.45am-3.45pm Monday to Friday.**_
**Salary: £11.58 per hour - Pro rata salary of £17,754.22 per annum.**
**Location**:_**Langside School, Poole, BH12 5BN**_
**Overall Purpose**
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team at Langside School. The school provides education and support to children with physical and learning disabilities. The role involves supporting the teacher in the delivery of the curriculum, as well as supporting the pupils with personal care needs.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic person who is nurturing, and proactive in making a positive contribution to our team at Langside. In return we offer excellent training, staff discounts and term-time only working.
The roles involves:
- Supporting our pupils to access the curriculum.
- Supporting and assisting our pupils with their personal needs - including feeding, exercise and personal care.
- Monitoring our pupils, following guidance to ensure they are safe.
- Supporting the implementation of programmes initiated by teaching, nursing and therapy staff.
