Lecturer B

Bolton College is seeking to appoint an outstanding Lecturer B to become part of our ESOL Adult department. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and talented Lecturer to join and lead our dedicated and inspirational colleagues.

**Ideally, you will have**:

- PGCE / Cert. Ed. Level 5 teaching qualification
- GCSEs in English and maths at grade 4/C or above or equivalent
- Recognised ESOL Qualification
- Degree or equivalent
- Recent or current teaching experience of ESOL teaching
- Experience of developing high quality learning materials for learners with ESOL needs
- Able to demonstrate enthusiasm with ability to lead and motivate a team

**Day-to-day you will have responsibility**:

- To support the Head of Department by co-ordinating and supervising a team in the delivery of high quality and inclusive provision within the curriculum area.
- To deliver high quality and inclusive teaching and learning on one or more courses.
- To support curriculum management on curriculum and course development.
- To take part, comply and monitor quality assurance procedures and systems within the area of responsibility.
- Develop resources, support teaching programmes and deliver on a number of courses as required.
- To support the achievement of annual targets for learner numbers, income, expenditure and success rates.

As an individual you will be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults at risk, and will therefore be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
