**JOB TITLE: Cleaning Operative**

**REPORTING TO: Operations Supervisor**

**LOCATION: Wellgate Shopping Centre, Dundee, DD1 2DB**

**HOURS: 42.5 hours per week, any 5 of 7 as per rolling rota**

**PAY: £10.42 per hour**

**Role overview and purpose**

Cleaning operative will ensure exemplary standards of cleaning and Customer service are always provided to the client and visitors to the site.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Gladly interact with all visitors/tenants within the shopping centre, delivering first class customer focused service.
- Continuously look for opportunities to be of assistance to visitors at the shopping centre, proactively helping wherever opportunities arise.
- Ensure radio procedures are always adhered to.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as required to meet the needs of the business.
- Any other reasonable duties as requested by your line manager.
- Complete all training requirements as requested by your line manager.
- Be flexible for overtime cover if required.
- Carry out various cleaning duties to a high standard.

- Be professional, pleasant, friendly, courteous and helpful always whilst carrying out duties to the highest standard.
- One team approach.
- Take ownership of all situations to ensure tasks are completed or escalated when necessary.
- Able to stay motivated to achieve a high aim.
- Respect all staff and visitors within the shopping centre.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
