**THE ROLE**

We are seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to join our team on a Fixed Term basis as maternity cover, to provide generalist HR support across Start Up Loans and British Business Bank (BBB) teams to ensure the HR strategy is implemented and the businessplan and initiatives are supported.

Reporting to the Interim Head of HR, the Senior HR Business Partner will demonstrate internal best practice and influence behaviour that challenges change and facilitates consultations whilst adapting to the pace and process of change. You will influencemanagement on people issues, providing feedback and coaching on individual leadership and behavioural skills as appropriate.

You will be experienced at a Senior Business Partner level, and have demonstrable experience of implementing new policies, processes and change programmes. Broad knowledge of generalist HR and employment and remuneration legislation are essential, as isthe ability to articulate the links between the People Strategy with Business Strategy.

With the ability to work independently and drive initiatives, you will have excellent commercial awareness and the ability to understand and support business priorities. You will also be an effective communicator who is able to adapt and influence in orderto manage stakeholders successfully.
