Domestic Assistant

We have an opportunity available for a Domestic Assistant / Cleaner to join our Extra Care team on a part time basis.

**The Role**

You’ll be responsible for providing an efficient and effective cleaning service to designated areas of our Extra Care Scheme to agreed standards within the various communal, office and residential settings as directed.

You’ll work mainly with older, vulnerable people in their own homes providing a cleaning and domestic support service which includes laundry, ironing and bed changing. You’ll also clean in communal areas such as toilets, bathrooms, corridors and lounges.

**What are we looking for**:

- Previous cleaning experience
- Excellent housekeeping skills
- Customer care and good interpersonal skills
- An understanding of COSHH Regulations with regard to use and storage of cleaning chemicals
- The ability to work on own initiative
- Experience of working with vulnerable people would be desirable
