We are looking for those with childcare experience or looking to kick start their childcare career

**As important as ever you must adhere to the following**:

- You must have a warm, smiling face that makes every child feel special and loved.
- You must be able to laugh at jokes that you don’t understand, or you don’t find funny. Child humour can be a confusing minefield to navigate.
- You will preferably have a little bit of quirkiness. If a child requests that you be a princess, you will be the best fairytale princess you can be.
- The ability to sing in tune is not necessary, however the ability to sing out of tune in front of a crowd is essential.
- Some knowledge of Frozen, Minions, Spiderman, Peppa Pig and Paw Patrol would be advantageous.
- You must be able to distribute warm hugs as required.
- Pretending to eat playdough creations realistically is required, as is drinking numerous cups of pretend tea.
- Authentically showing an interest in and curiosity for bugs and creepy crawlies is essential, even if they are your biggest fear on earth.

**We have the following position available.**

South Heaton
1 Child/ 8 Year old
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8am-9am (paid for two hours) / Afterschool 3.15-6.30pm
The family would like a nanny who can commit to a long term period as they would love someone to grow with their family.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16 per week

**Salary**: £11.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Newcastle upon Tyne: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- childcare: 1 year (preferred)
