One of the North Wests leading digital-first firms is looking to add another Product Owner to its growing technology function. The role has been created through internal promotions so you are joining both a Product team and a culture that rewards delivery and positive behaviours.

The business itself moved to a product model a few years ago and through careful evolution, has steadily moved to implement a Tribe-based structure, that uses OKR's to measure success. All this is to support a wider strategy to always put the user at the heart of the customer journey. A happy user means more conversations and greater retention.

As a Product Owner, you'll own a digital product with particular emphasis on continuously improving the customer journey, working with cross-functional teams of Developers, QA's and UX Designers. You'll own discovery, drive planning and manage the product backlog, ensuring you're tracking to quarterly OKR's. You'll be using data to inform your decisions and you're influencing skills to gain consensus with the business stakeholders, and your Tribe.

Historically, this is a company that will hire people from varied backgrounds that have involvement in product development such as BA or Project Management roles, but even UX.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in product development life cycle, from discovery to delivery.
- Experience in a product owner role or taking a leading role in software development projects in a customer-facing capacity.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to talk to and present to a range of audiences, sometimes acting as a translator between parties.
- Experience working with agile methodologies and preferably scrum.
- Excellent analytical skills and an informed, evidence-based approach.
- The ability to work under pressure on multiple projects within your project timeframes.
- A passion for creating solutions with a positive attitude to change.
- A good understanding and grasp of information technology.
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding of the role of a product owner.

- Previous experience of managing and influencing large teams without direct line management of individuals.
- Experience with agile development processes such as Scrum/Kanban.
- Certified Product Owner certification.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Commercially astute and analytical
