**PURPOSE: Provide a professional, friendly and reliable on-board catering service ensuring that the optimum sales and service is delivered in a professional and safe manner**

We have a really exciting opportunity for passionate, customer focused people to join Rail Gourmet on the Transpennine contract as a On Board Host based in Manchester Piccadilly

You will be responsible for selling items off the refreshment trolley to both standard class and first class passengers such as hot drinks, soft drinks, alcoholic beverages, crisps, chocolate and general light refreshments. You will also be responsible for serving first class with complimentary items. As a customer host you will be a vital role in the on-train team, making sure that customers enjoy the warmest of welcomes and receive an outstanding service.

You will be very smart in your appearance, be friendly and approachable and always looking to help our customers.

Your personality plays a massive part in the level of service you provide, we want our customers to love and remember their experience on board Transpennine trains and the catering that has been provided to them. The role is shift work based on a rota to provide customer service throughout the whole day including weekend work. So you will need to be flexible and reliable in order to work the shifts.
