Help get better trained personnel to the front line faster
This exciting role has been designed to reflect and support key aspects of our new ways of working as part of the modernisation programme.
The role offers expert advice to promote active, evidence-based learning. It supports the design of inclusive, flexible, and tech-enhanced training for all learners, including those with Specific Learning Differences and Neurodiverse needs.
Based at HMS Collingwood the role also covers several naval sites along the South Coast of England so travel with overnight stays will be required (on average twice a month). You will have the ability to work from home one or two days a week.
This role is Fixed Term until March 2027
Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level.

**What you will be doing**:
- **Motivate, inspire, and support educators**to achieve a high-quality learning environment by building relationships with key stakeholders such as Training Design, ETO, and Delivery teams. Advocate for inspirational teaching, including the use of digital technologies, to positively impact learners.
- **Provide curriculum and training design support**to ensure inclusive learning for all students, considering differentiation, specific learning differences, and neurodiverse needs.
- **Lead quality improvement initiatives**to implement effective observation, teaching, learning, and assessment processes.
- **Champion best practices**with stakeholders to support all learners, especially those with neurodiversity and specific learning differences.
**What we’re looking for**:
**Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications**
- Background in Further or Higher Education, (post 16/Adult) ideally with experience in leadership roles
- Teaching qualification at Level 5 or above
- Strong digital literacy and confident use of IT tools
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships and collaborate effectively
- Proven ability to influence others and drive meaningful change
- A proven track record of effective engagement with stakeholders resulting in development and positive within teaching, learning and assessment
**About Selborne**
Selborne is a wide scale, 12 year transformation of Royal Navy Training. The contract worth GBP 1 billion was awarded in December 2020 to a consortium led by Capita to deliver and modernise training for the RN. The consortia of partners known as Team Fisher includes Raytheon UK, Fujitsu and University of Lincoln together with 14 other UK-based suppliers.
