Tutoring in Nottingham

Teaching Personnel are looking for experienced educators who can work with young people for the following three reasons:

- We support local authorities to put access to education in place for young people who are not in Education and have SEN or SEMH needs.
- We are an approved supplier of tutors for looked after children and children who do not attend school for a number of reasons such as awaiting school places, non-attenders and permanent exclusions.
- We provide tutors to work in care homes, the child’s home and other settings with students who have recently come to the UK and speak little to no English (ESOL training/experience required)

We take referrals for both primary and secondary aged students. Majority of our referrals will be to support pupils with special educational or SEMH needs who are working below ARE.

The recent locations we have taken referrals for tutors include:

- Nottingham
- Mansfield
- Derby
- Chesterfield

Referrals are in person at the pupils home address on a 1-1 basis.

Timings are generally flexible, although generally we get requests for tuition within school hours, Monday to Friday, term time only.

£20-£25p/h hour pay rate for 1:1 tuition (dependent on experience) - we are a PAYE company so we pay half of your national insurance contribution, plus we also pay into a pension scheme for you for as long as you work for us.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role as well aas the Right to Work in the UK. Please see faqs for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
