Working hours are 7:30am - 4:30pm Monday to Friday, with overtime paid after standard working hours.
Duties for the calibration engineer include - To cover both regionally and nationally with daily customer site visits
- On site calibration of both company and third party equipment
- Carrying out minor repairs if required
- Routine inspection and servicing of the equipment, completing all relevant service sheets
- Providing on-site customer support, technical advice, and troubleshooting where necessary
- Logging all data and inspection information, then loading onto the portal for the office to collate and produce UKAS certificates
- Overnight stays in hotels occasionally, with an overnight allowance and meal allowances paid for
- Ensure all tools, equipment, devices, and company property are maintained and looked after
The company is seeking someone within an hour's commute of the Halesowen area, as you'll be required to visit the head office occasionally to carry out workshop repairs, and collect spares and parts.

We would love to hear from you if you've had experience in any of the following
- calibration engineer, field service engineer, calibration technician, instrument technician
- A strong background in process and inspection instruments
- Knowledge of UKAS accreditation
- Good level of IT literacy to carry out the report writing, and to submit key information to the online asset management system
- Flexibility towards UK based travel, as well as overnight stays in hotels when required
- Clean UK Drivers License

This is a great opportunity to join a well established service team, within a corporate business that still has a family feel to how they treat and grow their staff. There will be extensive training on offer during the first 6 months in order to become fullyskilled in all areas of calibration, service, and repair of the instruments.
