Jobs 22 is an innovative new company created by the national UK charity, Catch22 and the Angus Knight Group. Catch22 has designed and delivered services that build resilience and aspiration in people and communities for over 200 years, and the Angus Knight Group is a major provider of human services across Australia and a skills provider in the UK.

With the support and experience of these established organisations, we are building a new approach to helping individuals who may have been out of work for a significant period of time, to find employment.

We have a dedicated team of supportive coaches, skills trainers, occupational health advisors and labour market analysts, all focused on inspiring and motivating individuals to overcome barriers they may have to get back into meaningful and sustainable employment.

As part of a new government initiative, we are working with employers, local government and other partners to deliver tailored support for individuals across several parts of the UK.

**About the Role**

As an Engagement Advisor you will be providing support to the Jobcentre Plus teams to understand the participant journey, and how Jobs 22 provide the Restart Scheme.

Four of your five days will be spent at the local JCPs, promoting the Restart Scheme, working with SPOCs, supporting with enquiries, myth busting and talking directly to potential participants to directly promote the Restart Scheme, ensuring that they feel confident about the service once they join.

You will have access to participant records using the Jobs 22 CRM system and record regular contact with work coaches, keeping them aware of the impact of the Restart Scheme

Building an up-to-date working knowledge of the local area labour market, training opportunities and relevant support agencies is essential for success in the role. You will get to know what is available by working closely with your key internal stakeholders to ensure that the JCPs are aware of the excellent work and networking opportunities available.

**Skills, Qualifications and Experience Required**
- Experience of working in the employment and skills sector and delivering to specified targets, quality standards and compliance measures is preferred.
- The empathy it takes to engage with all sorts of people, and the confidence to challenge them if you need to.
- The ability to handle different cases at the same time in an environment where everyone has targets to achieve.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- A tenacious approach, especially when it comes to bringing other people around to your way of thinking.
- An understanding of the local and regional labour market within one or more sectors or industries.
- A practical understanding of the recruitment and selection processes.
- Good administration, IT and organisational skills with good experience of using MS office software.
- Desire to work in a new, start-up organisation, where there is a need to be both creative and pragmatic.
