Stock Controller/e-commerce Order Processing

Our client, a successful family run, online flooring business based in Tottenham, North London, is looking to recruit a friendly and efficient **Stock Controller/E-Commerce Order Processor**to join their busy team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with some previous knowledge on eBay/Magento/Amazon selling platforms to play an integral role in the business.
The role involves ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of the Company’s e-commerce orders while delivering excellent customer service. You’ll be liaising with the warehouse team and courier companies to meet delivery timeframes, and also completing all required order administration.
Great opportunity for beginners in a hands-on office environment. Training will be given on the job and you will be working in a very productive team. You will be expected to pick up new things quickly and be confident in your attention to detail.
**Location**:Tottenham, North London
**Hours of work**: Monday - Thursday 8am-5pm & Friday, 8am-3pm
**Salary**: £26,000 per annum
**Benefits**: 28 days paid holiday, NEST pension, 45 minutes paid lunch
**Main duties for the Stock Controller/E-Commerce Order Processor position**:
- Stock control
- Product uploading on online platforms
- Process the Company’s online orders from eBay, Amazon and Magento selling platforms
- Ensure customers have provided all contact details via the order page.
- Keep customers informed of any order delays or stock issues.
- Book an appropriate courier depending on product specifications.
- Print packaging labels and print invoices to match with courier slips.
- Record transactions on company’s P&L Excel sheets and stock control.
- Answer customers’ delivery, technical and general enquiries on the Company website’s chat bot and Amazon’s internal messaging functionality.
- Place customer orders with Warehouse Manager and check stock availability.
- Liaise with the warehouse team about customer collection orders.
- Check all customer orders have been delivered successfully and deal with any issues directly with couriers.
- Process all returns
**Requirements for the position**:
- E-Commerce order processing experience, including eBay, Amazon and/or Magento platforms
- Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating a positive, friendly and helpful attitude
- Strong computer skills, including Excel
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with a professional and confident manner
- Able to follow instruction and demonstrate a willingness to learn
- Accurate with excellent attention to detail
- Able to develop professional relationships with a wide range of people inside and outside the company
- Highly organised with strong multi-tasking and time-management skills
- Flexible approach to changing circumstances with a willingness to take on new tasks
- Self-motivated, hard-working and an excellent team player
- Possess the knowledge and ability to work within an equal opportunity framework and develop an awareness within the staff team of anti-discrimination practice
