We have an exciting opportunity for a dietitian to join our growing oncology and surgical teams to specialise in dietetic treatment of patients with upper gastrointestinal disease. The role will primarily focus on patients with upper GI cancers undergoing all types of treatment (radiotherapy, chemotherapy, surgery and palliative).

You will work with our oncology/surgical dietitians with the support of a Band 7 clinical lead upper GI dietitian. The upper GI service is a regional centre of excellence, providing services for a population of 1.2 million in central southern England. The UGI service specialises in the investigation and multimodality treatment of patients with primary gastric and oesophageal malignancy. We also provide benign oesophago-gastric surgical services. You will be a key member of the upper GI MDT closely working with specialist nurses and consultants to improve patient outcomes along their whole treatment pathway.
