**Billing Assistant - About The Role**
In this role you will be working within a sub team of 4 and will be required to maintain a flow of billings in line with agreed targets. Furthermore, you will be ensuring that client invoices are generated and despatched correctly and in a timely manner.This role will suit either a progressive individual who is looking for future exposure in finance or someone experienced within professional services. Your key responsibilities will be:
- Production of billing guides, the preparation of draft bills to be followed by the finalisation of bills for allocated areas.
- Provide a support service to the partners in all aspects of billing.
- Using internal systems to make general matter, invoice or credit note inquiries.
- Provide accurate advice on billing queries, procedures and VAT issues.
- Ensuring bills are sent out and scanned onto the finance system.
- Raising apportioned billing schedules and ad hoc schedules in Excel.
- Undertake ad hoc responsibilities as required by line manager.
**The successful Billing Assistant will have**
- Previous experience in a similar position
- Experience within a professional services organisation would be desirable
- Good Excel skills
- Ability to communicate at all levels
