**Application Developer, Southampton, £45,000**

**Purpose**

As the firms Application Developer within this professional services business, you'll play an integral role in driving the development and instalment of the brand-new practice management system. As the Application Developer, you'll report directly to theIT Director, and be exposed to all levels of the business supporting their IT related needs.

Note: Initially you will be required to come into the offices (based on the south coast) for the roll out of the new Application.

**Responsibilities**

As the Application Developer you'll:

- Support the delivery of a new practice management systems across the firm
- Design workflows to streamline processes
- Maintain, support, and develop the new practice management system.
- Perform effective testing of developments, workflows, and external integration before release
- Troubleshoot issues and work closely with the practice management system provider to resolve issues and implant improvements.

**Background**

You'll have:

- Experience within SQL Programming
- Previous experience working as an Application Developer
- Experience in XML
- Have an understanding of software design and programming skills
- Knowledge around Object-Based programming languages
- Be an affective team player with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Strong level of knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
