An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Nutritionist to join our small friendly team at our well-established health food store in Worthing. The role requires working in store and carrying out usual day to day duties on the shop floor, as well as providing nutritional advice to customers in store.

As an addition, we will also provide you with a free clinic room in our Shoreham store for you to complete Nutritional Consultations with your own clients and also those that you gain whilst working in the shop. We will also supply you with commission on items purchased by your clients in store.

**Responsibilities and Duties**

**The role as in-store Nutrition Advisor involves the following**:

- Advise customers in their selection of supplements, natural beauty and food, as well as aid them with their health questions.
- Promoting your clinic on site and converting customers to become patients
- Answering questions / advising on all products in the shop
- Look after the VMS side and exploring new ranges - in line with the company ethos
- Assisting the store supervisor with promotions and window displays where appropriate relating to supplements and health conditions
- Day to day shop floor work
- Serving customers / till work
- Daily product ordering and processing deliveries in
- Keeping the shop replenished regularly, clean and tidy
- Providing excellent customer service and product knowledge and a passion for what we do.

**Qualifications and Skills**

**You will have**:

- A recognised qualification in Nutrition and your own professional liability insurance is required
- A good, current knowledge of VMS and herbal remedies and the health food market and the ability to advise customers confidently and competently.
- Experience in a retail environment is preferable but not essential. However exceptional customer service standards are a must. You should be personable and friendly.
- A passion for our products and an enthusiasm to help customers to make healthy choices.
- Experience and confidence in consultations and clinical work.
- Good computer skills.
- Great attention to detail and be able to work with figures.
- Passion, positive energy, and flexible can do attitude.

**Working hours**:

- We are looking for someone to work between 15-20 hours per week - plus clinic hours
- Must be flexible to work weekends and bank holidays - on a rota basis
- Some flexibility on working days and hours (to fit around school hours etc) are available but flexibility for you to be able to cover other shifts is important
- Store is open 7 days a week(including bank holidays).
- Opening hours 9:00- 17:30 every day and 11:00-16:00 on Sundays.
