Capital Financial Markets Limited is currently recruiting for an experienced Paraplanner to be based both remotely and from our St Albans office to support the Investment Managers with a broad range of UK-based private clients providing report writing, clientservicing, and compliance requirements.

**Salary**: negotiable dependent on experience

Hours: This may be considered on a part-time basis

**The Role**

We are looking for someone who is qualified and holds a minimum Level 4 RDR compliant exam, specialising in Financial Planning. Has Chartered status; a current SPS and a minimum of 3-5 years experience in a similar role. Full training and support will begiven to further develop your skills and abilities.

**Core responsibilities**
- Building trusted working relationships within the business and with existing and potential clients
- Primary point of contact for the Investment Managers and clients
- Crafting client reports and writing detailed suitability letters, including client reviews to an excellent standard and within specific timeframes.
- Researching products.
- Preparing documentation and illustrations for client meetings and reports.
- Facilitating the smooth processing of new and existing business.
- Working closely with the administration team.
- Ensuring compliance standards are met and monitored as well as organisational requirements.
- Managing clients' expectations and communicating progress to both them and the Investment Managers
- Maintaining a detailed current knowledge in all aspects of Financial Planning by keeping CPD records.

**About You**
- Level 4 RDR compliant exam in Financial Planning
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role working within an investment management environment
- Chartered status and a current SPS
- Demonstrable track record
- Experience with Cash Flow Planning Software
- Detailed knowledge of pensions, with experience in Defined Benefit Transfers
- Estate planning knowledge desirable, with a good working knowledge of IHT
- Ability to work independently
- Quick learner
- Self-starter

- Creates a positive impression with clients and staff
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
