An opportunity has arisen for a registered Recovery Nurse to join a highly qualified team of professionals within an award-winning private hospital situated in beautiful Bath.
**The Role**
You will provide and maintain the highest possible standard of nursing care for patients and their families by ensuring an on-going welcoming, caring and safe environment is provided for patients within each of the Care settings, whilst ensuring a continuedprovisioning of an environment conducive to Clinical excellence. This includes planning, assessment, implementation, and evaluation of patient’s care following agreed care pathways
**Responsibilities**
- Competently administer oral drugs used in the ward environment and undertake relevant drug administration training to comply with corporate guidelines for the control of all drugs and assist with the safe custody, storage and control of all drugs at wardlevel.
- Compile statistical information and assist in carrying out audits as required in relation to the service and attend educational audit process for the unit.
- Undertake and deliver education and advice to patients and identify risk factors and lifestyle changes that may influence patient outcomes.
- Be familiar with all departmental and emergency equipment, ensuring it is checked in line with policy ensuring any problems with equipment are reported and the equipment removed from use as appropriate.
**Required skills and experience**
- Proven evidence of Intravenous Therapy skills
- Have experience in a similar Clinical role
- Demonstrable record of CPD
