Physiotherapy Assistant
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time (22.5 hours across 3 or 5 days a week) permanent Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team, working across all 5 acute wards, three acute admission wards for adults and older people, a ward for people with dementia and a psychiatric intensive care unit (PICU) within the in-patient mental health service at Springview, Clatterbridge Hospital.
The successful applicant will be expected to have a high level of motivation and enthusiasm. You will be encouraged to work independently, manage your own time, and use your own initiative, whilst having support and taking direction from the band 6 Physiotherapist.
Therefore, we are looking for an applicant who is motivated, enthusiastic and can interact well with others, to encourage patients to engage in therapeutic activity.
The post will be part of the therapy team that provides a service across every ward, therefore the successful applicant will be required to work with patients across the unit, under the direction of the band 6 Physiotherapist.
We are an integral part of the multi-disciplinary team (MDT), working closely alongside our colleagues on the wards. Therefore you will need to be able to work as part of the therapy team, as well as the wider MDT.
