**Job Summary**
**Duties**
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Take drink orders from customers or servers and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Monitor customer behaviour and ensure responsible alcohol service, adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.
- Handle cash and process payments accurately, ensuring proper record-keeping of transactions.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
- Uphold food safety standards by following proper hygiene practices in the preparation and serving of beverages.
- Assist in restocking supplies as needed and report any inventory shortages to management.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Bartender or in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink recipes.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in bartending.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly disposition towards guests.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- A genuine desire to help others and provide outstanding customer service.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract
Pay: £12.21-£16.98 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
