Their engineering team has grown over the past three years from 5 people to over 30 today. You'll be working alongside 8 other electrical engineers in an environment which is highly supportive.

Thanks to a visionary CEO, the company has won bids against businesses twenty times their size, based on the high quality of their designs and the Data Centre engineering expertise they offer.

Your ideas will be heard here, and working for a small business allows the flexibility to adapt quickly. It also means your training & development can be tailored to you. If there's a business case for it, you can do it.

You'll also be working in a dynamic environment which can react to new developments. Two pay rises in the past 6 months is a testament to this approach.

Your role here as an Associate Electrical Engineer will see you acting in a lead capacity on projects. As well as getting hands on in electrical designs and calculations you'll also be involved in mentoring and buddying more junior engineers.

You'll be developing designs for electrical distribution systems right from EHV down to LV, incorporating UPS plant equipment, switchgear and power control & monitoring systems among others.

If you're coming from electrical engineering in any technically challenging or critical sector such as Hospitals, Pharmaceuticals, Power stations, or Nuclear then you'll be well capable of moving into Data Centres.

If you're still working towards your Chartership then you'll be supported towards this, as the company loves people who have a strong desire for career progression and professional development.

You'll enjoy the fact that you won't need to be travelling into London in this job. It's a hybrid-working role with 3 days a week out of their office near Reading giving you the chance to absorb knowledge directly from those engineers around you.

With projects all over Africa and Europe you'll have plenty of opportunities for travel if you want them, but you'll typically not be away for more than a few days at a time.

You can expect a salary here of £70,000 - £80,000 with regular reviews and the chance to jump into a specialized and forward-thinking sector which can offer you both personal and professional growth.
