**Part-Time, Permanent (20 hours per week)**

**5 over 7 flexi hours any time between 6am and 6am (to cover sickness & annual leave. 20 hours guaranteed opportunity for overtime)**

**Salary**:£21,814 to £23,820** **per annum + company benefits**

Serco have an exciting opportunity for a Helpdesk/Switchboard Operator to join our team based at Wishaw General Hospital, site has 663 beds covering approx. 67,000spm. Reporting into the Switchboard Supervisor / Team Leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day handling of incoming and outgoing calls for patients, visitors, and staff. You will receive and manage helpdesk requests, issue job numbers and forward onto the appropriate departments.

**What you’ll need to do the role**

You will be able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar role and have excellent communication skills across all channels. This is a very busy and fast paced role, so experience in this sort of busy role is key. Working in a Hospital environment is highly rewarding, so we are looking for someone who is passionate about the healthcare industry and wants to make a difference
