Our workshop is an extremely busy environment with high volumes of work going out on a weekly basis, therefore the ability to work at pace and under pressure is essential.

We are a fast growing timber window and door company that is looking for motivated individuals who can:

- Assemble timber products i.e. windows, doors, gates, orangeries, lantern lights
- Able to sand ready for our spraying department
- Sash window experience essential
- Bi-folding door experience advantageous
- Working on a range of latest profile machinery
- Flexible to work on customer sites too in the installation side of the business as required

You will need:

- good practical skills
- an organised approach to work
- an eye for detail
- to be able to work at a fast pace
- the ability to follow technical drawings and plans
- good maths skills for measuring and working out quantities and angles
- reasonable level of fitness
- the ability to work as part of a team and unsupervised
- an awareness and adherence to health and safety
- Must be self motivated and an organised person

This position is a great opportunity for an experienced joiner to progress into a workshop managers role.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: NEG

**Salary**: £10.00-£12.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Stoke-on-Trent: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Joinery: 1 year (preferred)
- Carpentry: 1 year (preferred)
