**Care Assistant
- Team Lead (night duty)**
**Balloo House is a 30 bed residential care home caring for the frail/elderly over 65s. Balloo is a family run private home situated on the outskirts of Bangor Co.down.**
**Balloo has an opening for a care assistant team lead for night duty, part time hours between 24 hours-30 hours per week with a weekend on weekend off rota.**
**Night duty hours 8pm-8am awake.**
- **Responsibilities to include**:_
- **Night medication rounds and early morning medication round.**:
- **Hourly checks**:
- **Fire safety**:
- **Delegation of staff during the shift.**:
- **Contacting the OOHGP/ambulance if required, assessing residents medical needs throughout the night.**:
- **Completing daily notes**:
- **Signing over of controlled drugs to day staff and handing over to the person in charge the following morning.**:
- **Personal care tasks**
- **Medication trained or be willing to learn medication system.**:
- **One year care experience**:
- **Six months
- 12 months experience in a supervisory role or lead role.**:
- **Clear Access NI checks.**:
- **Desirable but not essential Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social care.**
