**Cristal Care are recruiting for a Nights Senior Support Worker to join our team.**

The role of a senior support worker is a mixture of direct support and supporting the home management to ensure quality and a robust package of support, it is both varied and rewarding.

If you have a genuine love for interacting with other people and are motivated by seeing the positive impact that your help can have, this could be the role for you.

**Key Duties**:

- Ensuring that high standards are maintained in the context of staffing, the resources, fabric of the buildings and the health and welfare of residents
- Ensuring conformity with company expectations and CQC Standards for Quality and Safety.
- Leading shifts, managing staff and ensuring the site is safe and required support is provide to the staff
- Acting as a positive role model and providing high quality support to all residents
- Ensuring that each residents’ specific needs are met, such as:

- Medical and dental attention
- Medication
- Personal hygiene
- Dietary requirements
- Religious observance
- Culturally significant activities
- Communicating a clear sense of direction to staff, reflecting core values of the company
- Deploying and managing staff when required, including the devising and maintenance of rotas, covering staff shortfalls due to sickness.

**Key Skills/ Experience**:

- Excellent communication and the ability to communicate with individuals at all levels.
- Good written communication skills.
- 1-year senior support worker preferable or team leader.
- Health and Social Care Level 2 or 3 is essential. We offer recognised qualifications and will invest in developing you through a personal development plan.

**Experience**:

- providing care: 1 year (preferred)
- supervisory: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
- NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Doncaster (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Doncaster: Relocate before starting work (required)

Work Location: In person
