We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our Learning and Development Team as a **Learning Management System Design and Digital Skills Coach**.

**mirus** is a not-for-profit charitable organisation, working in partnership with the people they support, their families and other partners, to deliver high quality, person-centred support services for people with a disability. We have been supporting people in Wales for over 35 years and currently support over 350 people in ten different local authority areas.

The role will be key in the development of mirus digital skills; with an emphasis on coaching, mentoring and designing our digital skills. This is an exciting time of digital transformation and this role provides great opportunities.

The role is great for someone who has knowledge and experience of coaching and training digital skills as well as the development of digital skills training.

**Who are we looking for?***

- Ability to use **mirus** IT systems to develop digital programmes, produce reports and develop easy and accessible systems.

- Able to adjust approaches to meet the needs of others when coaching.
- Work well as a part of a team - communicate in an open and respectful manner and able to demonstrate a team spirit that is positive and successful because of working together.
- Demonstrate how continuous and professional development is achieved and be responsible for own self-led learning
- Responsible for having a flexible approach to working and travel
- Hold a full UK driving license which is acceptable to **mirus** insurers and have the ability to use own car for work purposes
- Demonstrable experience of working in a digital focused training role.
- Experience of using digital platforms and digital design for training
- Being professional and have a friendly/approachable manner with all levels of the workforce
- Experience of working together with a team in problem solving, showing respect for people's opinions and views that has led to productive and positive outcomes.

**Qualifications (desirable)**
- Level 3 in Customer Care
- Level 3 in Digital Content
- Learning and Development Qualification at Level 3

**What will you be doing?**

**Learning and Development**
- Contribute to designing digital training packs. Reviewing and updating these packs in line with mirus standards and branding.
- Communicate with managers to identify gaps in staff learning and scheduling training with trainers across the organisation.
- Manage relationships with external providers for specialist training.
- Provide training reports regarding data collection and training feedback.
- Lead on providing digital learning for all levels of the workforce and identify potential skill gaps, providing solutions for these using person centred learning methods.
- Coaching staff at all levels, from direct support staff to senior managers, to use the mirus digital systems effectively.
- Coaching line managers on how to support new employees with mirus digital systems.
- Ad hoc and planned support to staff with digital related learning.
- Producing content that can be used as a guide for digital systems and core training activities.
- Provide social media content related to L&D and digital systems via the appropriate channels.
- Maintain an awareness of compliancy requirements with Social Care in Wales.

**L&D Infrastructure and Reporting**
- Developing/reviewing/maintaining learning management and qualifications systems based on what matters to **mirus**:

- Assist with process scoping and solution design when new skills are identified as needed for mirus people.
- Managing any required change and configuration of L&D systems/reporting within mirus.
- Scoping learning solutions in line with project need.
- Work in partnership with stakeholders within mirus to ensure the L&D infrastructure can deliver the needs for **mirus** people
- Update changes, timelines, highlighting any risk areas or points of concern in a timely manner.
- Provide feedback reports showing progression towards meeting agreed training aims.
- Contribute to evaluating the success of learning outcomes to review and continuously improve training programmes.
- Working with other departments and facilitators of training in reviewing digital content. This includes audio and video content. Also working in partnership to develop survey and feedback reports.
- Produce live reports as requested by departments and for quarterly performance reviews as well as local authority reporting and provide analytics to confirm compliance or show progress.
