Courier Logistics Coordinator Lincoln County Council, Office Based
Part Time, 20 Hours
Permanent, £18,000 - £26,000 (pro rata)

Here at Serco we are looking for a Courier Logistics Coordinator to provide business support to EUC IT Engineers and controlling courier delivery and collections services.

Key Accountabilities

Dealing with Purchase Orders from the client to buy software and hardware from Serco
There is a requirement for manual handling of kit ie when deliveries of new stock arrive and when we are boxing up kit to send out to users via our courier service
A keen eye for accuracy when completing multiple finance spreadsheets so we can manage and audit all the PO’s and invoices
Actioning tickets via our ticketing system ServiceNow
Despatching stock items and arranging collections through our chosen courier service, as directed by the Team Leader
Handling failed deliveries, escalations and issues with the courier service
Updating the stock control and inventory systems
Packaging up equipment for despatch
Assisting with stock control and stock audits
Providing quotes, raising work orders, assigning installation, jobs to engineers
Updating customers on delivery status, liaising with all levels of customers (end users to senior/contract managers)
Assisting engineers with their administrative tasks

What I need to do the role?

Excellent organisational skills
High level of attention to detail
Clear and effective written and oral communication skills
Effective numerical skills
Good understanding of using Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel. Outlook).
