**Senior Principal Commissioning Engineer**

We are looking for a Senior Commissioning Engineer, to join our team based in Hersham, Surrey. You will collaborate with the Manager of Commissioning & Start-Up on several EPC projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- To work in an office during periods when there are no on-site commissioning responsibilities. During this time, tasks may include flowsheet development, commissioning process preparation, bid assistance, and commissioning planning.
- Within the business, work on a variety of projects ranging from conventional plant to huge EPC projects.
- Provide EH&S site leadership, ensuring prompt prioritisation and coordination of all risks, problems, and unanticipated situations on-site, escalating as needed.
- Ensure that you have good insight and expertise of all areas of system and equipment process commissioning
- Have a flexible attitude to travel, sometimes on short notice, and be prepared to be away from home for lengthy amounts of time
- Able to be organised, disciplined, and capable of performing under pressure and prioritising several jobs

**Essential Requirements**:
Excel and PowerPoint are two of the most important Microsoft software programmes.

A bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering qualification is required, however, similar credentials will be accepted.

Experience working on-site in the chemical, petrochemical, or similar process industries

Knowledge of government legislation, international regulations, and HSE standard methodology is required.

A thorough awareness of applicable industrial standards and work processes is required to enable safe and practical installation and commissioning from pre-commissioning to start-up and performance testing.
