Golf Shop Assistant

**Sefton Council‘s Green Sefton Team is recruiting for a Golf Shop Assistant to join our busy team.**
**Green Sefton provides our communities with a clean, green Borough (including parks, playing fields, allotments, municipal golf courses, highway trees and woodlands, play and recreational facilities, and our coast and countryside, which include specially protected sites) to the benefit of residents, visitors, investors, and nature.**
Successful applicants will be required to provide excellent customer care to players, club members and non-members using the Council’s two municipal golf courses, undertaking a range of duties including general shop duties, ticket checking, taking payment and accounting for cash, giving advice, taking phone calls.
Applicants should have good literacy and numeracy skills and be computer literate. Experience of working in a shop or other similar environment would be useful and experience in the use of computerised cash register would be desirable.
Applicants will be required to undertake general day to day maintenace and cleansing activities to ensure the facilities and equipment are clean, safe and well presented for clients.
The Post holder will be expected to work shifts, (early & late) and weekends in accordance with the opening hours of the Golf Courses.
