We are looking for a **Full Time HR People Advisor** to join our team in Thornbury. As an **HR People Advisor**, you will partner with the People Manager and operate as a true generalist, managing the day to day running of the HR department at the site.

**Role details**:
**Salary**: £38,000 per annum

**Hours**:37.5 per week

**Working pattern**:Monday-Friday - Flexibility on Times

**Location**:Site Based - Gist Thornbury, BS35 3UT

**What you’ll do**:

- Ensuring the operational success and development of the HR department, working closely alongside senior site management
- Heavy involvement in matters of employee relations, including disciplinary and grievance issues
- Absence management
- Delivery of induction training for new starters, consistently updating welcome pack information
- Ensuring all elements of HR administration are carried out - e.g. starters, leavers, referencing, security and compliance checks, etc
- Assist with all aspects of recruitment and selection on site

**Who you are**:

- Experience within a similar People/HR Advisory/Officer position
- Ideally CIPD qualified or working towards
- Previous experience within the FMCG, logistics or supply chain sector would be highly desirable, as would exposure to a unionised environment
- Excellent relationship building skills
- Ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload
