Situated in the historic old town of Edinburgh and within walking distance of Holyrood Palace, The Royal Mile and Holyrood Park, we offer the perfect location for our guests to explore all Edinburgh has to offer. This is an exciting time to join the hotel as we embark on a rebranding and refurbishment program in the next few months to further elevate this fantastic hotel.

We are currently recruiting for a Night Auditor to join our front of house team. Our Night Auditors play a vital role in delivering a great guest experience to all our guests. They have a keen eye for detail, an organised approach and a willingness to exceed our guest expectation. Often operating on the front line, they are the real ambassadors of our company, and are committed to consistently delivering high standards.

Our night team will need to manage the smooth running of the night audit procedures to ensure delivery of the highest standards of product and service.

**Night Auditor requirements**
- Carry out night audit procedures
- Previous experience of Opera PMS beneficial
- Checking guests in to the hotel
- Responsible for overall Health & Safety during the night
- Balancing revenue and expense transactions for the day
- Responsible for food & beverage service during the night
- To adhere to all security procedures relating to keys, bedrooms and guest property
- Maintain a clean reception area
- Attention to detail
- Shift work including working Saturday and/or Sunday during the night
- Additional hours may be required to support the hotel during busier periods
- Previous experience in a similar role or environment is preferred
- Good communication skills with colleagues at all levels
